We are delighted to share that the Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre received the Silver Award in the “Best Operational P3 Project” category at the 2019 event held in New York.

Bouygues has been working in partnership with Fraser Health Authority for over eight years. The delivery of the project has seen improved access to healthcare for patients, while providing a great place to work for physicians, clinicians, employees and volunteers.

With his 6th Habit, Stephen Covey encouraged us to “Synergize” as we follow principles of creative cooperation. At JPOCSC, with the relationship developed between FH and BYES, we witness (enjoy and celebrate) examples of this concept in many aspects of our daily interactions. A wonderful level of synergy has been created as levels of both Trust and Cooperation raise the efficiency and positive results from services provided to staff, patients, families and visitors.

Each year P3 Bulletin holds one of North America largest P3 events – recognizing and rewarding the best in public-private partnerships.

Our judging panel awarded ‘Silver’ to a project which was described as a great example of an operational P3 project meeting/exceeding targets and showing good evidence of “true partnership” between stakeholders.

The entry also demonstrated how the project exhibits many elements of advanced health care delivery, in particular, substantial consolidation and co-location of facilities. One judge commented that the project “has incorporated leading practices in outpatient care as well as establishing multidisciplinary teams to better serve patients.
