How can interconnected technology change the way we work and live. Bouygues Energies & Services can help you harness the power of data and technology to re-engineer the DNA of your buildings and your communities. Together we can improve your working environment, safety and security, in addition to optimizing operating costs and energy efficiency.

Connected Buildings

Facilities are using data to provide tangible new benefits to occupants and operators, and this connectivity-driven disruption is poised to unlock significant value for infrastructure suppliers across heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), lighting, IT, security, and safety.  Together with our sister company, Plan Group, we improve working environments, efficiency and energy performance. Connecting and integrating systems allows us to operate innovative, efficient and sustainable buildings.

Smart Cities

There is much industry talk surrounding the theory of the smart city but few practical examples to look at. The Dijon smart city project “OnDijon” is one such tangible example. Dijon, France’s first smart city, is being developed by Bouygues Energies and Services and its partners. The project leverages energy savings generated through the conversion of 34,000 streetlights to LED to finance the implementation of a rolling series of smart infrastructure investments. The first of these, the integrated Command Centre, went live in April 2019.

Green Technologies

A ‘green’ building is a building that, in its design, construction or operation, reduces or eliminates negative impacts, and can create positive impacts, on our climate and the natural environment.

Bouygues’ headquarters is a showcase of its sustainability commitment. We developed and project managed a comprehensive environmental retrofit that included large and small activities. Examples included geothermal, solar PV, solar water heating, water conservation, façade replacement and district heating technologies. Challenger is the world’s first quadruple certified commercial building (LEED Platinum, BREAM Outstanding, HQE Exceptional and BBC Effinenergie).

Working with start-up SMEs in the green space we can also deploy a range of green technologies to improve your asset performance whilst reducing your carbon footprint and utility costs.
Bouygues have been working in partnership with start-up, Smart Impulse, since 2012.

Green Offices

In 2019, Bouygues was awarded the contract for the management of the Toronto Regional Conservation Authority’s (TRCA’s) state of the art headquarters facility in Toronto – one of Canada’s “greenest” buildings. The building includes a number of cutting edge environmental technologies such as water walls, geothermal energy and solar chimneys, and aims to achieve LEED platinum and WELL building certifications. Bouygues was selected a partner on the project due to the group’s demonstrated success in the green building sector and attainment in a number of prestigious environmental accreditations.
